Terrestrial LiDAR
We integrate different methods of data capture, such as cameras and LiDAR, to obtain panoramic photographs and a cloud of geo-located terrain points
The IP-S2 system is an integration of an Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU), a GNSS receiver (GPS and GLONASS) and vehicular odometry that provides accurate positioning and altitude data in a dynamic movement environment. The combination of a 360 degree digital camera and laser scanning provide the user with data from a cloud of 3D points and geo-referenced images that can be used to extract information from assets in a Geographic Information System (GIS). With 64 laser scanners, it optimizes the visibility of assets on the road and provides a complete vertical field of view of 360 degrees, collecting up to 1,400,000 points per second at a range of 100 m.
Topcon's powerful software processes the geo-referenced LiDAR and/or digital image data in a visible 3D image representation that can then be exported to industry standard formats. GNSS data can be postprocessed against a reference station for greater accuracy.
